TERMS & CONDITIONS

ROCK THAT FROCK HIRE AGREEMENT

The following hire agreement is a legally binding contract between you as the renting Customer (“CUSTOMER”) and Rock That Frock (“ROCK THAT FROCK”). This hire agreement applies to users of our website and social media platforms. By contacting, hiring or browsing our website or social media platforms the CUSTOMER agrees to the following terms and conditions. Rock That Frock Frocks are only available for hire to individuals who are able to enter into legally binding contracts.

DEFINITIONS AND INTERPRETATIONS

‘Customer’ means the user/visitor/hirer.

‘RRP’ means the Recommended Retail Price of the Frock/s.

‘Frock/s’ refers to the hired item.

‘Frock Hire Price’ means the cost to the customer to hire the ‘Frock/s’ for the ‘hire period’.  Hire Price includes cleaning costs but does not include postage.

‘Hire Period’ means one day, four day or eight day hire from the date of attempted delivery to the day of lodgement at Australia Post.

HIRING

Rock That Frock service is based upon a two party agreement, between the CUSTOMER and Rock That Frock. The Frock/s are not for sale and are not available for third party hiring.

SOCIAL MEDIA

Please be aware that by posting to Rock That Frock’s social media platforms and/or tagging Rock That Frock in photos you permit Rock That Frock to use the images for marketing purposes.

FROCK HIRE

The Frock collection is available to view online via our website and social media platforms, with Frocks available to hire via our website or by contacting Rock That Frock directly at kate@rockthatfrock.net.au. In order to secure a Frock/s for hire a copy of your driver’s licence and credit card is required at the time of your first booking. The licence and credit card must match the name and address used for your booking. Failure to send these through will result in the cancellation of your order.

HIRE PERIOD

Frocks rented from Rock That Frock are hired for a four or eight day period, the first day being the date of attempted delivery of the Frock/s to the CUSTOMER and the fourth or eighth day being the day the CUSTOMER lodges the Frock/s for return to Rock That Frock at your local Australia Post. Longer rental periods can be arranged with us prior to booking and are subject to availability, and at an additional cost agreed upon prior to the confirmation of the booking. If the CUSTOMER elects to keep the Frock/s longer than the nominated hire period then the CUSTOMER will be charged an amount equivalent to the hire charges for every four day period or part thereof for which the Frock/s are not returned. If an item is unreturned, the CUSTOMER will be charged the full replacement value (RRP) of the Frock/s.

Also available is a one day try-on option. This allows the CUSTOMER the option to try-on the Frock.  Shipping is as per above terms.  The Frock must be returned after one day to avoid additional costs. By signing this agreement, you authorise Rock That Frock to charge any additional charges to the CUSTOMER’S credit card if the Frock/s is returned late or unreturned.

FROCK CARE

Rock That Frock will be responsible for the dry cleaning of all Frocks, however, it is the responsibility of the CUSTOMER to treat the Frock/s with respect and care. The CUSTOMER must be mindful when using tanning products. Rock That Frock upholds high quality standards always. If any issues occur during the hire period, please do not attempt a repair. The CUSTOMER must notify Rock That Frock immediately to work towards an amicable resolution. If significant damage is done to the Frock/s resulting in additional cleaning or repair costs the CUSTOMER will be liable for the total cost of the cleaning or repairs. If the Frock/s is damaged beyond repair Rock That Frock will charge the CUSTOMER the full replacement value (RRP) of the Frock/s. If the Frock/s is lost or stolen while in the CUSTOMER’S possession, the CUSTOMER will be charged the full replacement value (RRP) of the Frock/s. By signing this agreement, you authorise Rock That Frock to charge any additional charges to the CUSTOMER’S credit card if the frock/s is damaged, lost, stolen or soiled and requires additional cleaning.

DELIVERY/POSTAGE

Delivery is available Australia wide to the address specified by you, at an additional cost of $20.00 to the hire price and includes return delivery. Frocks are dispatched from Rock That Frock Head Office to the CUSTOMER via Australia Post, and will include a return addressed post bag with tracking number. The CUSTOMER agrees to return the Frock/s at the end of the agreed hire period in the return addressed post bag provided by Rock That Frock. The CUSTOMER is responsible for the cost of a new express post bag with tracking if the post bag is misplaced. Lodgement is to be made at Australia Post by 3pm on the last day of the CUSTOMER’S hire period (NOT a postal box).  The CUSTOMER agrees to provide Rock That Frock with a photo of the lodgement receipt and addressed parcel prior to posting as evidence the parcel is sent. Providing the correct postal information is provided to Rock That Frock the CUSTOMER will not be held liable for the Frock/s not returning. If the Frock/s is not received and the CUSTOMER failed to provide adequate photographic evidence of the lodgement and parcel, the CUSTOMER will be liable for the full RPP of the Frock/s.

CANCELLATIONS

Frocks must be paid for at the time of bookingto secure the hire. In the event of a cancellation seven days prior to the event a Rock That Frock credit to the full value of the hire will be granted for future use. If a cancellation is made by CUSTOMER within seven days of the booked hire period, no compensation will be offered.

PRIVACY POLICY

Rock That Frock respects the privacy of our online visitors. Unless otherwise authorised, we will not use personal information except in accordance with our Privacy Policy. When the CUSTOMER places an order with Rock That Frock, we are required to obtain your personal information including, but not limited to, your name, email address, phone number, residential address, shipping address, drivers licence and payment method details. This information is collected in order to process and fulfill your order request. 

We may use the information to assist in providing you with relevant information about our products or special offers that may be of interest to you. If you do not wish to receive these emails, you can send an email to kate@rockthatfrock.net.au with ‘UNSUBSCRIBE’ in the subject heading. We record data regarding customer activities on our website to analyse data about web page traffic. This assists us to improve our website to tailor it to CUSTOMER needs.

AMENDMENTS TO THIS HIRE AGREEMENT

Rock That Frock reserves the right to amend this hire agreement. Amendments will be effective immediately upon being posted on the website or being provided to the CUSTOMER.
